Alec Baldwin wants more children

30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin, 53, but he’s ready to have kids with his 27-year-old yoga instructor girlfriend Hilaria Thompson.

On Piers Morgan Tonight, the host asked the 30 Rock actor if he’d thought about having more kids. “Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic,” replied Alec, who’s already a dad to daughter Ireland, 16, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

“As my friend said to me, ‘When you have children, typically in a second marriage, when you’re older and you get married again to a woman who would have children, you must always remember that you make sure [the children] attend a college where the commencement ceremonies are held in a facility with a wheelchair accessible ramp,’” Alec added with a chuckle.

To get advice dating a woman half his age, Alec turned to Tony Bennett, who’s married to a much younger woman. “I said to Tony, ‘I’m dating a woman who is… younger than I am — she’s a lot younger than I am — and I sometimes think about that and I know, Tony, you’re with Susan [Crow] and you’re quite a bit older than her,’” Alec said. “And he looked at me and he goes, ‘Yeah, people say that to me all the time and I say to them, ‘Consider the alternative.’”

Alec says he’s very happy with Hilaria — and happy to not be alone. “It is true what people always say, and it’s tough to make your way to that place, I guess, where you stop looking,” Alec said. “I was married and I was with somebody for 10 years and then after I got divorced, I dated people and I had one girlfriend for several years…
