Anthony Weiner, wife welcome baby boy

Disgraced New York congressman Anthony Weiner has ended his scandalous year on a positive note. Weiner and wife Huma Abedin welcomed their first child, a son, on Dec. 22.

Weiner and Abedin named their son Jordan Zane Weiner. The baby weighed in at a little over 7 lbs.

The news Abedin was pregnant came just days after her husband admitted that he had engaged in inappropriate Twitter conversations with at least six women over the last three years. (Weiner and Abedin have been married for just over a year.)

Weiner initially denied the sexting allegations, but with the evidence stacked up against him finally came clean that he did tweet x-rated messages and photos to the young women. Weiner has since resigned from Congress. Abedin is the longtime aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
