In the four-minute video diary, recorded on Oct. 13, 2011, Casey’s long brunette locks have been replaced with short, blonde hair. She does not mention her deceased 2-year-old daughter, but she does talk about mothering a dog “who I have adopted and I love.” Baby name resolutions for parents-to-be Casey’s attorney tells CNN that his client did not publish the video diary. “She did not upload or release this to YouTube. She doesn’t know how the video got on YouTube. She did not authorize it, and therefore it had to be obtained illegally.” Casey appears hopeful in the footage, saying “It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven’t changed. But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way. I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better.” After spending three years in jail awaiting trial, Casey is taking pleasure in accumulating personal possessions, such as a computer and camera. “These are things that are mine that I don’t have to, I don’t know, that I don’t have to give back,” she says. “It’s kind of nice, finally, being able to say that I have some belongings that are mine, that I’ll be able to take with me after I leave here next year. It’s kind of funny to think about.” 15 Ways to find a truly unique baby name And she plans to make good use of her new belongings. “This is the first of many [videos] and I’m looking forward to this,” Casey says. “It’s a little scary, because I hate being on camera.
