Michelle and Jim-Bob Duggar recently announced the baby they lost at 19 weeks gestation, was a baby girl named Jubilee.

The Duggars are well known for naming their children all starting with the letter 'J', with the exception of a baby she lost 20 years ago named Caleb.  The first week of December brought sad news for the Duggar clan as Michelle learned the baby she was carrying had died.

Knowing she was healthy enough to do so, Michelle decided to let the miscarriage happen naturally.  Their daughter, Jill is a midwife in training and has been keeping a good eye on her Mom. This weekend, baby girl Jubilee Shalom Duggar was born.

Michelle Duggar is allowing her baby to come naturally.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Jim Bob Duggar said, "We have had many tears today. This is life, and I understand that we are going through something that many others have. You think about the what-ifs, but God gives us strength to go on. We won't be able to see this child's life and the phases that we've seen for our other children, but we know we will see this child in heaven one day. We are thankful for each child, and we are blessed to have the children we have here and the ones we will meet someday in heaven."

The family had a private memorial service, will they have a public one?

"We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, emails and outpouring of love," Jim Bob Duggar wrote in a letter he shared with People. "As our whole family is grieving, we also know that God promises to work all things for good in our lives. Our prayer is that Jubilee's passing will help us all realize that this life is short, and our relationship with Jesus is the most important thing. He gives us a peace in our hearts as He guides us through whatever we might face."

The names the Duggars chose for their angel are very beautiful and significant.  Jubilee means a big celebration for a special occasion and Shalom is Hebrew for hello and goodbye, yet also means 'peaceful'.  What a perfect name for this sweet angel.
