Eric Benet and Manuela Testolini welcome baby girl

Grammy award nominated singer, Eric Benet and his wife, Manuela Testolini welcomed a baby girl just in time for Christmas!  Born just 6 days before Christmas, will they give her a baby name inspired by the holiday?

Eric announced the birth of his new baby on twitter saying, "Best thing in the world..sending your 3 day old baby back to sleep w lil kisses on her head at 3:20am :) so happy!!"

Eric and Manuela have been so excited about this addition to their family.  "My wife is an extremely prepared person so we have everything we need for the magic hour! India will definitely be home and it will be a holiday season of love and family sitting around the house for a big event to happen".

Baby Lucia joins big sister India -- a 20 year old college student and aspiring musician.  The whole family is so excited about this new bundle of joy, and with good reason.  Eric was a single dad to India and confesses things are a bit different now than they were 20 years ago!  When asked about this baby compared to having one 20 years ago, Eric said, "It feels great! When India was a baby, I was grateful and joyful but at the same time I was fearful because I was a single parent. In a lot of ways I was a kid myself. I've done a lot of growing and now I have all the joy and all the excitement with a whole lot less fear. It's great!"
