Gus was born in March 2010. The baby's father is Burton's boyfriend, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Amazingly, Burton kept the pregnancy and birth a secret until now.

Burton and Morgan began dating in 2009 and went public with their romance at the L.A. premier of Morgan's film The Losers.

"We're really happy, and we're a very good team," Burton told the Associated Press. "And we got very lucky that our family is what it is."

Morgan also has a son with ex-girlfriend Sherrie Rose. He was unaware of his paternity until March 2009, when the child was already 4 years old.
