It's a boy for Robert Downey Jr.!

It's a boy for Robert Downey Jr., 46, and his wife, Susan Levin, 38.  The happy couple welcomed Exton Elias Downey on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:23 am in Los Angeles.

The couple announced their pregnancy this Summer. They kept the gender of the baby under wraps, that is until Robert opened his mouth to Jay Leno in December. The actor said, "I am not permitted to discuss it... I can't say a word," before announcing, "We're having a boy!"

Lucky for Mr. Downey his wife is the forgiving type. She commented of her husband's loose lips, "I could never really stay mad at him, but I can tell you it genuinely wasn't something we planned to reveal."

Robert has one other child, 18 year old Indio from his marriage to Deborah Falconer.

Recently in an interview with Men's Fitness, Robert spoke of Susan, "What can I even say about her? I'm crazy about her. Everybody's opinion isn't right all the time, but as far as averages go, if she wants to, she could hit to the same seat in the bleachers over and over and over again. That sort of consistency is awe-inspiring. We give each other the freedom to explore who and what we really are, which is great, because we're always changing. I know I've changed a fair amount over the last decade, but she's changed 10 times more than I have."
