Katherine Heigl, star of Ugly Truth and Grey’s Anatomy, is adopting a baby girl from Korea.

The adoption has been in process for more than six months, and the baby will turn 1 in November. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Heigl told her host, “She was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign.”

Heigl, 30, and musician husband Josh Kelley will call the baby Naleigh, after Heigl’s mother Nancy and sister Leigh. The name Nancy means “Grace,” and Leigh means “From the meadow.”

Heigl expects Naleigh to join the family very soon.
