Khloe Kardashian letting nature take its course

We’ve followed Khloe Kardashian as she and husband Lamar Odom have tried without success to start a family. Now, the reality star says not getting pregnant yet may be a good thing.

"It's frustrating when you hear so many rumors because it makes you almost want to put pressure on yourself," Khloe, 27, told People while promoting the second season of Khloé and Lamar. "But looking back, I think everything happens for a reason."

Much has changed since the famous Kardashian sister met her professional basketball player hubby. Lamar, 32, was recently traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.

Sweet-smelling baby names

"I think, 'Gosh, what if I did get pregnant last season or a few months ago?'" Khloe said. "Or what if I had a newborn baby and all this [basketball] trade stuff happened? I don't think I could have dealt with everything at one time. Doing this trade and my husband's emotions and going through all that is so stressful."

After the hectic relocation, however, Khloe and Lamar are happily settled in a Dallas home. And now they’re eager to convert one of the rooms to a nursery.

Old-fashioned baby names: Classic, yet cool

"Maybe Dallas will bring a baby," Khloe says hopefully. "We're definitely trying to have kids. Everything will happen when it's meant to be. Last season, we were much more documenting, 'Okay, when am I ovulating, when am I doing this?' And it was very stressful to do it that way, so we've stopped. Lamar and I definitely are letting nature take its course."

Nature may be taking its course, but E! will be there to document it. The premiere episode of Khloe & Lamar airs Feb. 19 at 10 p.m. and includes plenty of baby-making content. (There’s even a scene featuring sex swings!)

"We've had our same film crew since the first season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Khloe says. "So for me, I never think twice about [filming sexy scenes]. I don't ever think about how many people are going to watch the show. I don't ever want to filter myself. I like being me."

But Khloe’s husband prefers a more private approach to lovemaking. "For Lamar, it's different," says Khloe. "He's still getting used to filming. There are standard cameras that are just placed in rooms. There's no film crew in those rooms. You see the black and white footage because Lamar's like, 'I can't get my freak on with people here.' "
