Levi Johnston will name daughter after favorite gun

There's a baby girl on the way for Levi Johnston, and he's already picked out the perfect name for her. The dad-to-be intends to name his daughter after his favorite gun.

We've come to expect baby name weirdness in Hollywood. And since Sarah Palin ran for Vice President, we've come to expect it in Alaska, too!

Baby names inspired by TV families

Sarah Palin named her children Track, Trig Paxson Van, Bristol Sheeran Marie, Willow, Piper and Trig. Daughter Bristol carried on the family tradition by naming her son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston.

Levi Johnston, of course, is Tripp's father. Levi and Bristol were mere teenagers when they were surprised with an unplanned pregnancy. And now that Levi has tripped up again (no pun intended), he has another unplanned child on the way -- this time with Sunny Oglesby.

It's fun that Levi found himself a girlfriend with an unusual name. And it's even more fun that they intend to contribute to the weird baby name trend when their daughter arrives... they plan to call her Breeze Beretta.

The strange moniker makes perfect sense to the young parents-to-be, who announced that they conceived their baby during a hunting trip. Furthermore, Beretta (a high-end Italian gun manufacturer) is Levi’s “favorite shotgun,” according to an interview with Inside Edition.

Popular baby name trends for 2012

While some parents wait to meet their baby before finalizing the name, Levi, 21, is certain about his choice of baby names. He just got a new tattoo on the inside of his right arm that reads “Breeze” in cursive and mirrors the "Tripp" tattoo he wears on his left bicep. Unlike his relationship with Bristol, Levi says he’s “actually in love” with Sunny, who is five-and-a-half months along in her pregnancy.

The unemployed oil (who's tried his hand at modeling) does not have a good relationship with the Palins and is $38,000 behind in child support payments. “I love Tripp more than anything, and he is my son, but I don’t feel like a dad to him,” Levi said. “Hopefully one day I can be.”

Powerful baby names

Tripp’s mom Bristol, 21, isn't holding her breath. In an interview with In Touch last month, she admitted that she was “hurt” by the news that Levi had another baby on the way and claims he “continues to lie” about custody, suggesting that she won’t give him access to their child.

“I wish Levi would be like, ‘Hey Bristol, can I have Tripp for the weekend?’ I would be so willing and glad to do that.” She also worries that Levi’s irresponsibility may come back to haunt Tripp one day. “I don’t want [Tripp] to go to elementary school with 10 half-siblings,” she told the magazine. “That would really affect him. I hope that this child is raised with two parents. [Levi] needs to step up to the plate and be there. I thought he had learned his lesson the first time.”
