Miranda Kerr has made the official announcement: she and new husband Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child.

The Victoria's Secret model, 27, confirmed the news in the September issue of Spanish Vogue.

"Yes, I'm pregnant," says Kerr. "Four months along."

Kerr and Bloom were wed in July. It was "a private and intimate occasion."

The supermodel will continue gracing the runways after the baby is born.

"I think having children and pregnancy is a part of life," she told the magazine. "I look at how models like Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio have done it and made it a part of their lives."
