Miranda Kerr has known for a long time what she would one day name her son.“He was my first love,” Miranda said of Christopher. “We were young and we talked about everything; having kids and getting married. He died so instantly. It was quite a shock. Flynn’s actually named after Christopher. I wrote him a letter after he died, saying I would name my first child after him and that is what I have done.”
Fancy baby names and easy nicknames
Flynn's first name is a tribute to Orlando's late grandmother, Evelyn, who passed away while Miranda was pregnant.
“I was convinced we were going to have a girl because my grandmother actually passed when Flynn was conceived and she was really dear to my heart,” he shared. “Evelyn was my grandmother, on my father’s side … I was thinking … we’re going to have a girl, it’s going to be called Evelyn.”
