Big congratulations are in order for Rascal Flatts singer, Jay DeMarcus and his wife Allison. The couple is expecting their second baby this Summer.

Jay met his wife, Allison after she appeared in the Rascal Flatts video, “These Days”.  They started dating, fell in love and were married on May 15, 2004, in Nashville. Allison is a corespondent for CMT, and the couple welcomed their baby named Madeline Leigh December 17, 2010.

While this doesn't seem to have been a planned pregnancy, the couple is thrilled to pieces! Jay first announced the pregnancy via Twitter yesterday, “Alright y’all, Ali and I have baby number two on the way!!”

What other celebrity babies will be born in 2012?

"This was definitely a huge surprise, but we're so thankful and excited that Maddie is going to have a brother or sister," Jay says in an interview with The Boot, "We're really gonna have our hands full!"

"Jay and I are thrilled about completing our family," Allison adds. "Madeline is going to love having a sibling, and we are bracing ourselves for the many sleepless nights ahead."

What teen heartthrob did Rascal Flatts team up with?

The couple are lucky to have Jay's bandmates to swap parenting stories and secrets with. Rascal Flatts frontman, Gary LaVox has two daughters, Brittany and Brooklyn and Joe Don Rooney has two children also, Jagger and Raquel.

Gary and Joe Don have been able to give advice to the new parents, “They did give me a lot of advice, like, ‘Pray a lot!’” he says. “They’ve been really good examples of men who take good care of their families.”

The best part of Jay joining the “Dad Club” for Gary is that,  “Now Joe Don and I aren’t the only ones who look tired anymore!”

I am just thrilled for Jay and Allison! Here is to a happy, healthy pregnancy!!
