It was an exciting year for Robert De Niro. The actor welcomed both a child and a grandchild in 2011.

De Niro, 68, and his wife Grace Hightower announced the birth of their baby girl, born via surrogate. De Niro and Hightower wed in 1997, split in 1999 and renewed their vows in 2004. The baby girl joins big brother Eliot, 13.
