The cast of Grey's Anatomy is experiencing a baby boom! Eric Dane (Dr. Mark Sloane) and his wife just welcomed a baby girl, Jessica Capshaw (Dr. Arizona Robbins) and her husband have recently announced her pregnancy, and now Sarah Drew (Dr. April Kepner) and her husband have welcomed a baby boy  named Micah Emmanuel Lanfer.

Sarah gave birth to Micah Emmanuel Lanfer on Wednesday January 18 at 6:21 p.m. In Los Angeles.  People.com reports that Sarah, 31, and dad Peter Lanfer “are in love with him”.

Celebrity Mom, Chyler Leigh can give Sarah great advice about raising her baby.

While preparing for the birth of her first child, Sarah shared with CelebrityBabyScoop.com, "I had a lot of fear and anxiety about being a parent, about my marriage changing, and about what it would mean to make the sacrifices required to enter into parenthood," Sarah continued: "[My dad advised to] make a habit of “aggressive thanksgiving.” He suggested that I spend time each day in gratitude for everything that I have been given, and when those thoughts of fear and anxiety creep in, I should replace them immediately with thanksgiving. I started doing that each morning, and after two days of “aggressive thanksgiving,” I felt totally released from the fear and anxiety, and instead all I felt was joyful anticipation for the coming of our baby."

What other Grey's Anatomy Stars have had babies recently?

This turned out to be great advice for the self-proclaimed control freak. Sarah was able to relax and enjoy her pregnancy. The star didn't want to find out the baby's gender until birth. “I thought it would be a good idea to wait to find out because I am a control freak by nature,” she explained.

“I’m about to walk into a chapter of my life where I have no control over anything anymore, and I figured I’d ease myself into it by not allowing myself to plan for the sex of the baby. It’s good training for me.”

Congratulations Sarah and Peter! Welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood!
