Jionni LaValle, 24, thanked Twitter followers yesterday for all of their well wishes. “Thank You everyone!!” he tweeted. “Sorry about the wait but glad everyone’s happy!! Nicole and I are real excited!! Our baby is going to be #ShortnTan.” Snooki, of course, stands just 4’9” tall, and Jionni’s not much taller. And both have gone way overboard on the tanning scale.

It’s been a week of revelations for the Jersey Shore reality couple. Snooki, also 24, told Us Weekly that she is so excited about becoming a first-time mommy… and that she’s ready to put her hard-partying days behind her. “I have different priorities now,” she told the mag. “I don’t care what anybody else things. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”

Snooki has been dating Jionni for over a year now, and he thinks they’re ready to take this big step. “We are not going to screw this up,” he promised.

Snooki’s Jersey Shore castmates are looking forward ShortnTan’s arrival, too. Yesterday, Deena Cortese, Snooki’s BFF, tweeted, “Can’t believe we’re gonna have a little baby meatball running around soon… You’re gonna be a great mommy.” Pauly D also congratulated the couple on Twitter and added, “I Better Be The Godfather.”
