My Dad's name is Randolph.  He was born in 1945 and named after Rudolph Valentino (rumor has it my Grammie had a crush on him). Baby name inspiration comes from many different sources.  While many people name their babies after family members just as many name their children after celebrities.

The top celebrities in 2011 may just find themselves the namesakes of a whole slue of babies.

Natalie Portman not only lit up the big screen in her role as Nina Sayers in Black Swan, but also gave birth to her first baby, a boy she and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, named Aleph.  Emma Stone, previously known for her roles in "Easy A" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love", gave her already popular name a significant boost with her role as Eugenia in "The Help," one of the year's biggest movie hits. The baby name Isabella is steadily climbing the charts thanks to Kristin Stewart's portrayal of Bella Swan in Twilight.  And of course Kate Middleton has taken the world by storm as everyone's favorite Princess.

Other baby names we are sure to be seeing more of  come from those who provide the soundtrack to our lives.  Adele, Lily Allen, and Michael Jackson are all providing inspiration with more than their music.

Not to be outdone by the girls, baby boy names are hotter than ever.  John Corbett's character from Sex in the City, Aiden, contributed to the rise in popularity of that name and it is still holding steady.  Another Twilight credit is the name Jacob.  While this has been a popular baby name for years, Taylor Lautner's portrayal of Jacob has increased this name's popularity.  Other celebrities whose names are among the favorites are Liam Neeson, Will Smith's son Jaden, and Ethan Hawke.

What are some of your favorite celebrity names this year?  Would you or did you name your child after a celeb?
