Absentmindedness (Pregnancy Haze)

Do you come into a room forgetting why you went there? Do you forget appointments? You are most likely suffering from "pregnancy haze" which is making you forgetful and dizzy.

The cause for this annoying symptom is, you guessed it, hormones. Hormones go wild as pregnancy starts and are responsible for overeating, increased foot size and other irritating side effects.

The way to deal with this symptom is to take it easy and not get frustrated. Write things down and delegate responsibilities to your partner, friends or family. Do you feel like your brain is clogged up? Take a brisk walk to circulate your blood stream.

The main thing is not to worry. After the baby will be born, you will be sharp and focused. Your pregnancy is the time where you are allowed to be hungry, clumsy and spoiled. Relish it, you are going to a mommy. You will need to be responsible for another person's life. Enjoy your last months of being free of responsibilty.

I wish my family saw it that way. I've been hungry, clumsy and stupid and it only seems to push my family away. I'm definately no being spoiled! This is my second pregnancy and yet again I feel like others take my pregnancy as annoying or not special. I know it is, I waited six years for this and am VERY happy. I just wish I had someone to enjoy it with me. :(
