Names Ending with “N” Sound

There are other names that end with an “n” sound, but not necessarily an “en” ending. You may consider swapping out letters for “en”, just be sure your alternative spelling doesn’t cause more confusion for people to pronounce and spell later on.  Also keep in mind that changing even one letter may change the meaning and origin of that name, as well as make it applicable for both boys and girls.

Some examples of adding “en” include:  Alan to Allen or Austin to Austen. Below are some additional boy names ending with the “n” where you may want to consider changing the spelling to include an “en.”
