The Social Security Administration's list of popular baby names isn't out yet, but we can give you a sneak peek at what BabyHold readers consider to be the most popular boy baby names of 2010! Read on to see what got the top spot in 2010 and see if any of these names are what you are looking for.

Baby boyUsers of BabyHold searched for the boy name Jaden the most -- a name similar to the name Jayden which means "God will judge." Jaden was followed closely by Tristan, Caden, Caleb and Connor -- all cute, two-syllable names that are easy to remember, spell and say.

Traditional names like Tyler, Noah and Joshua also made appearances in the top 25 along with a few names that are on the trendy side, such as Killian and Aiden. For the most part the most searched-for baby boy names at BabyHold were simple yet strong.

Continuing trends

It's apparent that the "Aiden" trend is still going strong -- Jaden, Jayden, Caden, Aiden and Hayden were all at the top of many parents' lists and will continue to be so for the next year. The Irish trend is also front and center with entries such as Sean, Killian and the very popular Aiden, which in fact is an old classic Irish name that comes from an ancient Gaelic name -- Aedan.

Do you think these names will be on the SSA's popularity list when it's released? We can't wait to find out! Check out the top 25 most searched-for names here at BabyHold and perhaps get some inspiration to name your little one.
