Indian Baby Names

While filming in India, a guru redubbed Julia Robert's children (temporarily) with Hindu names . Twins Hazel and Phinneas were given the names Laxmi and Ganesh, and son, Henry, became Krishna Balram.

It is traditional in India to use a holy man as a guide to the best name for their baby. Parents spend a good amount of money to have a well-known astrologer decide the best combination of letters and sounds to ensure that their child will be strong and wealthy.

Based on the boys names below, if diamonds are a girl's best friend, you could do worse than to associate with Hiren, whose name means "Lord of gems and attractive pearls" or Tarak, who is a watchful protector. A girlfriend or wife named Sachi, whose name means kindness and grace, or Rajita, meaning bright or brilliant, is also attractive.
