Ashlyn

I have always loved the name but it gets very very frustrating telling people your name and having to spell it out for them if you don't want to be called Ashley!! I love the name though, although mine is spelled differently than what is listed here...you dont hear it very much.

So i can promise you that the majority of all people are going to end up calling you ASHLEY or ASHTON or you'll even get the " OH! Like Ashland, Oregon?"

sixteen years and people STILL don't get my name right.
Oh Well, that makes me feel like it's even more unique.

We named our daughter Ashlyn. No other name would fit her. She's athletic, funny, kind hearted and one of a kind. Love the name!

When I was about 14 I was watching a TV programme and the girl on there was called Ashlyn, I fell in love with that name. Yea I named my daughter Ashlynn Rielly. She's 10 now and she gets called ashley and ashton but she doesn't mind at all. She just says that eventually they will get it and I'm not going to rush them they still know who I am.

hi my name is ashlyn renee and im 11 now. through out all the years people have called me ashton, or mostly ashley and my family jokes around saying ashland. so im just saying people ALWAYS get confused for a tip if your gonna name ur kid that. also when i was born i was gonna be called ashley until my dad, gary thought of his sis lyn. and so thats how ya got it and my mother, kelly her middle name is renee!
