Carrie

I am 11 years old and I love my name, and I am the only one in my middle school to have the name Carrie. My name is very uncommon in the region I live in, Albany,Ohio. I also love my name and love babies with the name Carrie it is so cute!

I am English and I am the only person I have ever met with my name. In England Carrie is known as an old Irish name and this would seem logical as there are so many more Carrie's in America. I love my name but sometimes I have issues with its pronunciation and spelling.

Yay more Carrie's i have only ever met one other Carrie face to face. The meaning of Carrie should be changed to what the majority of carries decide. ;-) My parents gave me my name from a song, which is nice because my twin got her name from Dr who. Any one with the name Carrie has got to be nice,kind and not arrogant.

I went to school with 3 other Carrie's but it does not change the fact that i love my name. I would not change it for anything. I think it sounds pretty.

I dont really like my name too much everyone has it.
When i was in elementary school i had 4 other girls in my class alone with this name so we all had nickname and mine was care bear...lol
So when i had kids i tried to make sure this did not happen to them there names are Chamellia and Jade.

my name is carrie-anne and i totally love it i've never met anyone else with the same name either but have met quite alot of carries. really annoys me if people decide to cut off the anne and just call me carrie as i think the two names together are nicer

my name is Carrie Ann i hated it for awhile because everyone would say no your name is caroline id say no its carrie . my nick name has been carebear 1st of all cause care is short for carrie and then again there were the carebears that came out the same year i was born, not many carrie's that are my age, very unique (cleveland, ohio)

my name is Carrie Ann. I am named after my great grandmother on my father's side. My father's side is English. I never knew any other Carrie's growing up, it wasn't until I was an adult that I met others. I now know two other Carrie's. I never thought of it as unique, never really gave it much thought. I just thought it was kind of a boring name :)
