My grandmother's maiden name is Ivey (English), so my parents used that and combined it with my mom's middle name (Lee)...so my name is Iveylee. I get compliments ALL the time about how different and beautiful my name is. And I have NEVER met or heard of another. So dont steal it :)

I named my daughter Ivy Jane. I love this name. It took forever for my husband and I to agree on a name and we both instantly loved Ivy. I am so afraid it will become popular, tho. Lily and Violet are creeping up there. So far I haven't seen Ivy too much on popular names lists. Hopefully it won't get too trendy!

My daughters are Violet Matrista and Ivy Neren. Violet is 7 now, and I get a lot of people asking me if I named her after Ben Afflek and Jennifer Garner's daughter. My daughter is OLDER than their daughter, so no. I do have people who ask me where I "got" the name Ivy for my other daughter, though, like you have to go out and purchase it somewhere. I love names that are not mainstream. My boy's are Chess , Indigo, and Ronan, which is not as popular here in the states as it is in Britain.

My daughter Ivy Carol
written by Shell Finderup, April 14, 2010
We were stuck for our youngest daughters name in 2005. So ended up going back through our families names within the last 80 years. And we both loved an old Aunties name, Ivy. Everyone loves it too. She is a sweet blond blue eyed happy girl, and its suits her perfectly. We teamed it with my favourite Auntys name, Carol for her middle name. We are so pleased with Ivy , as no one in our area has the name.
