I always joke to may parents that they first thought of calling me Jane... but then decided to torture me and add a 't' at the end. I have never liked my name, not in the slightest. Never torture your daughter with this name!

my name is Janet. I don't hate it but I have never loved it. I always say to my mom of all the pretty names why did you choose this one. she gets very offended says she really likes it lol whatever. It hadn't been torture but I wouldn't name my child after me or anything

Well my names is Janet to && i happen to love my name even though I'm not so happy on why my mom named me it (because she likes Janet Jackson ALOT lmao) but i don't see why anybody would think Jane sounds better then Janett, not even close...
