Lori

My parents, who had very little imagination, gave me this name back in the 70's. It's so boring. It dates me. Like every third girl born in the 70's is named Lori, Laurie, Laura, or Loren. People from other countries have trouble pronouncing this name. Just do the world and favor and choose a different name if you are considering this very, very boring and unassuming name for your baby girl unless you really feel that your baby girl is going to grow up to be a very boring person to whom the name should fit quite well.

my middle name is lori and i'm proud of it. i'm named after my godmother and i'ts short for lorraine, which is my grandmother. it isn't a very original name but it is a name and like every name it is a part of you.

I was born in 1962 and am proud of the name Lori...it is very American and, although it is often spelled incorrectly, I'm glad to have the unique spelling. Way to go Mom and Dad!

I'm 18 and to be honest, I am not boring. Fair enough it's a hard name to have, what with all the teasing I endured at school, but still, I wouldn't change my name ever. I had trouble liking it growing up but its unique, not many people are called it and it makes me who I am. And on the bright-side people never forget my name lol :]

I love my name. I am 24 years old and I only know one other Lori. I love that not many people have my name and I'm a very outgoing and as non-boring as they come. Whoever didn't like their name must have some issues with their parents or self because I always say I could not be happier with the name Lori.

i loved the name lori so much that i decided to name my oldest daughter lorileigh... originally leigh was going to be her middle name that i decided it looked and sounded better together... her first grade teacher name was lori leigh ... my daughter was soo proud of that she enjoys her name and has really grown into it....

I love the name Lori! It sounds so simple and sweet and makes a great middle or first name! I love Lori Leigh or Lori Anne/Ann.
