Hmm, well I'm biased.
You see: I grew up in the "West-o-plex" of DFW. Fort Worth being that "Western"-part of Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex...er, MetroMESS, to be more accurate.
For those who are unfamiliar w/ the metro area, the western portion (anchored by vibrant Fort Worth) is, overall, very classy, affluent, & populated with the friendliest of people. These traits, thankfully, remain obliviously alien & antithema to the masses cramming into Big "D", for Ditch/Dump/Disaster/Disappointment (you get the idea).
So I'll second Misti's post: Great name for anyone who does not hail from Cowtown. One can safely bet that anyone named Dallas in the FW area IS NOT native to the area. Period. They'd be shot on the spot if they were.
This IS the city "Where the West begins", after all.

I am being induced in 2 weeks and my partner and i have decided to call our baby ( who is a boy ) ....... Dallas Kingsley Carlisle. Love it love it love it xx
