I get called a vartey of names, from Rinney, Roo, Rinne, Corny, Cori, never ends. It's almost irritating because everyone asks is it a doubled n or r, which one? Drives me nuts!

It took me to early adulthood to start to like my name. It's pretty and feminine and not too common, but mispronounced and misspelled ALL the time! And I cringe when people pronounce it Cor-reen. Yuck...why would anyone name their daughter that?!?

I pronounce my name Car-in, like car in the garage. I've always liked my name, but I make sure people say it correctly. I also hate Core-eeeen. My parents are both British so they pronounced it a little bit differently.

ha!

my name is pronounced like this name, but my whole familys' first names start with a k so i spell it like korin.
The spelling has been very horrible for me over the school years. I have always been pretty tall. and the substitute teachers would always pronounce my name like corn. sooo....i got the nick name corn stalk (tallness) and corn starch. considering my last name is stark.
I like the originality of the name. it's just there are so many horrible ways to miss-pronounce it.

My grandmothers name is pronounced Cor-Reen. Actually it is quite beautiful and unique, especially when it has meaning for the family...in this case she was named after her Aunt Cora. If my child is a girl, her name will be Coreena (Cor-REEN-A) for the same reason

My parents wanted to be unique so I got named Corynne. It's pronounced like Corrine...but my nickname is Cory. My name is constantly mispronounced. (Cor-EY-NEE)
I don't like to be called Corynne because it's girly..but i think it's a beautiful name. Just not for me.

Corinne is my middle name, and I am the 8th girl to have Corinne as her name. Its my mom's first name. It does get pronounced wrong ALOT, but I have learned to love it because of the family value. I'm going to name my girl Corinne. We pronounce it CORE-RYN. My mom's aunt was Corinne Sophia, which I think sounds beautiful. :)

That it is the problem that I am coming up with name, all these above, you want to name them something different but you dont wont people to say it wrong or get awful nick names eithers so I decided that i would just call mine " Korie" and Ka'lee and let it be simple. she can also be called Callee too. That way no one gets to tease her.
Kerinne

I chose this name for my daughter. When it was read to me from a baby book my friend pronounced it Ker-rin. My name begins with a K so I changed it to K. I liked the er sound better than the or.She does get it pronounced and spelt wrong all the time. I think it is such a pretty name. Not common but still normal!
