Rachelle

This truly is a great name! When you tell people your name is Rachelle some people think it is Michelle, Rochelle etc, it gets annoying.

I like it... but of course it's my name, thus vI would. If you say it enoug, it really does sound beautiful. It DOES get annoying when people think you're saying Michelle, or spell or say "Rachel." But, if you can learn to live with that, you've got yourself a wonderful name.

I have to agree with what you guys mentioned about our name. all throughout school they never pronounced it right and always called me "rachel" or "rochelle" or "michelle." i dont understand how they can say it right if its spelled "rochelle" but if its spelled with an "a" instead of an "o" its different.

this is my name but i agree with you all it gets SO annoying when they don't pronounce it right....they say rachel or rochelle and then there is this girl in my class named rachel, and then everyone thinks im another rachel. but its a really nice name...i wish they had it on all the cute necklaces or magnets and stuff.

People always comment and say "Thats a pretty name" of course it is, it's my name..lol, the whole misspelling of the name is easily corrected! :)

I know it gets annoying when people get it wrong, but you just have to remember that you were given a beautiful name!

My name is actually pronounced like "Rachelle" but spelt like Rachel, i like my name. My parents are full french so they pronounce it like rachelle. I get called Rachel all the time

I have twin sisters and one of their names is rachelle and the other is rachel and everyone always messes up their names. It gets kind of annoying but i wonder what they think of it it must drive them crazy.

I love the fact that my name is Rachelle, it?s pretty and different. I agree, it is annoying when people here your name they sometimes think you have said Michelle or Rochelle, and when they read they say Rachel. But the worse is when people call you Racquel, I still get people doing that. Once someone even called me Rashid, but that?s another story!

Still, it?s worth it, and I like the fact that I can shorten it with my friends who just call me ?Chelle, or ?Chelley. Very close friends and family have evolved that to Smelley but what can you do. I wouldn?t change it; I like the fact that I have a pretty name and not a boring common name.

I love how my name is so different but all through school we were called the "shells" since it was easier to tell us apart.. it seems i am always being called Michelle or Rachel.. Its hard for me because if they say Michelle, i HAVE to correct them because thats my sister!!!

my mother added an i but its still pronounced the same. i love it. and i make sure its always pronounced correctly when people first meet me.

Rachelle is my middle name. I didn't even know it was actually a somewhat popular name until i got on here. My mother named it after a bunch of really close friends and family. my first name is the same way. Its kaila and was made from my great grandmother's name Ila and my aunt's name Karla. I love both a whole bunch!
