My wife and I are expecting our baby boy in a couple of months from now. The name Walter struck me and I had to come find out what meaning it had. I'm strongly considering it. Now I have to convince my wife. wish me luck.

Speaking from experience. This name stands out. It stands out in any language. Its one of those names that belong to a select few. Im not a powerful ruler or famous but its a cool name. And it pays off when your number one in anything you put your mind to. May it be anything sports related to anything your heart desires. On the other hand it also comes with alot of responsibility. Your either fit for this name or your not.

When I first heard it, I didn't like it very much, I thought it sounded a little grampa'ish. But now it has really grown on me
