I had my daughter in 2004. We named her Zoe Abigail. I love the way it sounded, and so does my daughter. She is going to be 4 this year, and can already write her name. I love the fact it is so simple.....

I am 36yrs and I still love my name. I was the only Zoe in school for a long time and in my job I was the only Zoe for years...it seems to have become popular and then forgotten, but it would appear from the above comments it is making a come back. The only regret I have is my Middle name is Clare, so together sounds like Zo(eclair)...as in the cake. I have never had any name calling as its hard to with a short name, although it has been shortened to Zo, which I only except from family and very close friends.

When I was pregnant with my daughter my boyfriends INSISTED on naming her Zoe.. he had it picked out since he was 14. I didn't like it but once we saw her we knew instantly that the name fit. We came up with the spelling Zowie. We found it on a different website and the origin is celtic meaning unique. I am so happy that we named her Zowie because the name just fits PREFECTLY!
