Though the "meaning" category does say the name comes from the insect bee, it isn't clear enough. Being a Debbie myself, I really like knowing that I'm characterized after a "honey bee."

My mum's called Debbie and has always hated but now she's 42 and says she's kinda got used to it. Lol.

I think it's a very warm name although 'honeybee' only describes her in the sense that she has a sting in her tail.
