My little girl shares a similar version of this name
written by Elizabeth Mason, February 25, 2008
My little giel shares a similar version of this name. Her name is Alora middle name Della. I heard it in the movie "Willow". The baby in this movie was Alorah Dannon. She is now 3 and the star of the show! I think either version is beautiful!
My daughter is also named Alora!

My daughter, who just turned 2, was named after the baby in the movie Willow. I love this name! After having 3 wonderful boys, we were so happy to have the last of our children be a girl...unfortunely she had to have family names as her middle names. We named her Alora Nadine Ruth.

I also named my daughter with a variation of this name after the baby girl from the movie "Willow". She is seventeen years old now. I thought she was the only one with this name or variation of it but I have seen that several elderly women have this name.
also Eleora- The Lord is my light

This is a name we've been considering for our child. I love the meaning and the beautiful, femenine yet strong qualities to it.
