Hi! I named my son Solomon 8 years ago and it has been nothing but a blessing on us. People from every culture that I have encountered recognize it and can pronounce it. People's faces change when they here it. I cannot tell you how many people have called him "King Solomon" which is as you can imagine tremendous for a kid's self esteem (we are not his peasants however). And to top it off, there a plenty of famous and great people who have had this name and Solomon gets to hear all these wonderful stories. I cannot tell you how many times I have re-told my interpretation of the bible story. Plus my kid does aspire to be sweet and kind and fair. This is definitely one of the best gifts I could give him.
