I love this name, so much so that I named my son this. He is now five and he always gets compliments. Great name and the spelling is masculine.
Love it!

TTC and hoping for a boy this time. I love the name Caelin and have never met anyone with this name before! I love names that are not too commonly found, but that don't sound weird, either. I like the meaning of this name also, it is perfect for a boy.

I named my son Callen (pronounced the same way) and I regret that he always has to spell out or correct people. His father and I hadn't agreed on a boys name, but one of our first choice girls names was Cailin. After a long back labor, my son's father got nervous about whether it would be a boy. After a moment thinking, he suggested Caleb - a name I previously liked, but that his best friend suggested to him in the waiting room a few minutes earlier. In my head I combined Cailin and Caleb and came up with WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN Cailin or Caelin or Kaelen, except I couldn't remember the spelling. When I blurted out the name, my baby's father yelled "Ok, now push!"

Only later when my father asked how I intended to spell it. With all of my baby brain and hormones, I came up with Callen!

For a while I thought about changing it, but have tried to just encourage Callen to love himself first. The name (pronunciation) is totally him, and uniqueness is part of his personality. I guess if it bothers him a lot, he can change it himself when he's older. :)
