My name is Haley, and i've never met a boy with the same name either. I think some more research needs to be done. I love my name though it gave me a great nickname - Halo

I am very happy to find out that finally the real meaning and use of my name came about. I was a bit annoyed as people would always make comments on my name being a girl's name, but in reality, it is a Boy's name. I would guess that the Brits started using it in the wrong "context" and ended up changing the use of this name. Anyway. As I am not from an English speaking country and my mother made it up using the name Rarlei as the basis for my name, I am very proud of it, and when you pronounce my name, the H is silent, and the A sounds like Ah as in Irish. It is a wonderful discovery! Thanks.
