my names katherine but i go by katie. personally i like katie better. i guess it's a cool name, but there are a lot of katie's and i can't imagine myself being older and still being called katie. it sounds like a little kids name, and doesn't really sound suttable for an adult.

I always loved the name Katie but when i had my daughter i didn't want to Ann or Lynn for a middle name. Finally i came up with Katie Jane and she is now 24 and i still love her name. Alot of her friends call her Katie Jane to this day.

I love the name Katie it is my name...and yes it is KATIE...not short for anything....im not really fond of people calling themselves Katie when its not their actual name though, I think poeple should stick with the names their parents gave them
