I l0ve my name Laila. There are other ways to spell it such as Leila and Layla or Leyla. It's a beutiful and unique name =)

Lylah/Leila, Layla and Leah have similar origins-growing up, it was not "in" to have an unusual name, I am over 40! Now, people always comment on my pretty name-I have been told there is a form of this name in almost every language, how great is that??

My name is Leila and I am half Persian. I love my name and have only ever met one other person with my name, but spelled differently. It does get mispronounced a fair amount, but I just say its Leila, like Sheila. Its definitely a great and unique name.

My name is Leila, I love it! Everyone tells me it's really pretty and unique. Btw, I'm Japanese-Palestinian-Filipino. I pronounce it "Lay-luh", but a lot of people mispronounce it as "Lee-luh", so if you're naming your child "Lay-luh" you might want to go with the spelling Layla, not Leila. In my case, my parents wanted to spell it Leila because that's how Leila Khaled (who I was named after) spelled it.

I like The Name Better When Its Spelled Laysla .. Just Have A Thing For the letter 'Y' :)
