My daughter is Adriana Noemi. Her father is Hispanic and his mother's name is Neomi. My Mother's name is Ruth. I recalled the Biblle and thought of "Ruth and Naomi." From that and condiering the Spainish spelling came the middle, "Noemi," as a combo of our mothers. Loved Naomi, but a little to commmon. This gives her even more of her own personality, and brings back a time when names had more of a meaning than "But I like Ashley!" Not to mention if I had named her Neomi, it would ALWAYS be mispelled as Naomi (since it has the same prenunciation).
