'Kai' is not a Welsh name. As there is no letter 'K' in the Welsh language, this would be tricky. The name is 'Cai' (which isn't a shortening of Cajus, as wrongly claimed elsewhere on this site).

'Kai' is a perfectly nice name, but it ain't Welsh.
