My friend is adopting a little boy and a little girl from Africa in a few months. She has a few names picked out and she had asked me to ask everyone on here, just to that she can get other people's opinions. They are:

Delilah Hope (nickname Lee-lah)
Josephina Aurora Faith (nickname Josie)

Boy:

Aeson James (nickname Ace)
Zenon Kyros (nickname Z)
Auden Reign (nickname Rai)
Lyle Foster (nickname Ly)

Is Adia pronounced like "ADD ee uh" or "uh DEE uh"? If the former, I can see the nn better. Also, it's probably just me, but I kind of don't like it when the nickname that sounds like the real name is spelled differently, like how Lulu and Louise both start with the LU/LOO/LOU sound, but one is spelled Lu and the other is spelled Lou. And, I thought Delilah was pronounced "deh LIE luh", so I don't understand the "LEE luh" pronunciation for the nickname. Similar thoughts on the boy names.

I think Adia is Ay-D-uh, because I once heard a song called "Adia" and that was how the singer pronounced it. To the OP, I like Adia Rose and Lyle Foster the best.

Adia is pronounced Ahh-Dee-Ahh. Thats how Alicia is going to pronounce it anyway! Thanks for your opinions so far!
