Don't know what I was doing at the time, but all of a sudden this name popped into my head...Maggie Lynn...well the name Maggie did anyways. Lynn is my middle name and I'm not usually a fan of the typical standard middle names, but in this case I thought they flowed well and kind of like the idea of having the family significance in there.

So what do you think of Maggie Lynn?

Also, do you think Maggie can stand on its own or does it need to have a long form? The only thing in this case is I do not like Margaret or Megan as options for long form...any other suggestions?

I think Maggie can stand on it's own just fine. Anyway, cute name!!

It's cute. It can stand alone just fine, but you might like Magdalena. You may want her to have that longer, more formal name just in case she isn't comfortable putting just Maggie on her resume or wedding invitations later. I also don't like Margaret.

I have a friend that goes by Maggie, but her full name is Marguerite. I think Marguerite is pretty in it's own way and a step up from Margaret.

That's all I got. Maggie Lynn is cute, it kinda reminds me of my daughter's nickname. We shortened her full name- Aubriella Braelyn- down to Aubielyn and got her nickname. Maybe you could do something like that, too, so you don't have just plain Lynn as a middle name, but you could still call her Maggie Lynn.

I think it sounds very beautiful and original It's fine on its own, but I do like the other suggestions everyone else made too.
