We are trying to find the right name for our second son and are not able to narrow down and agree.

Our first son is Luke Ferrell Braun. The second will also have a family middle name - Mitchell.

Which name would you choose/like best?

Luke Ferrell Braun

1. Beau Mitchell Braun (Beau Braun)-although I don't like BM initials, at least it's just a middle name thing; I like Beau the best out of all these

2. Cole Mitchell Braun (Cole Braun)-I like Cole, but I think I like Beau better with this combo; I don't like how Cole and Mitchell both end with the L sound

3. Connor Mitchell Braun (Connor Braun)- don't like how the first and last name start with the same vowel sound; not a huge fan of Connor anyway--I always think of someone who cons

4. Grant Mitchell Braun (Grant Braun)-actually, this is my absolute favorite! Grant is an awesome name! This combo works best for me, too. Go, Grant!

5. Owen Mitchell Braun (Owen Braun)-not a fan of Owen--I always think of owin' money; don't like how fn and ln both end with N; OB makes me think of OBGYN

6. Ryan Mitchell Braun (Ryan Braun)-I love the name Ryan, but, again, don't like how both would end with N

7. Thomas Mitchell Braun (Thomas Braun)-same as Connor, I am not fond of a name with the short O sound in it preceding Braun; plus, Tom Braun (if he ever shortened it) would sound funny (just like Con Braun would sound funny); TB makes me think of tuberculosis

Thanks for your thoughts. Gives us things to think about. We have played with a ton of different names. I in general like shorter simple names that are somewhat traditional but you don't hear everyday. My husband on the otherhand is more of a traditionalist. We are definitley open to other first name suggestions.
