Tyler met Marilyn at his fathers office in 1968. They were married at Hallaway House 7 months later, and their daughter, Elizabeth, arrived 6 months after the wedding in 1969. The wedding lasted 4 years until Marilyn found out that the house maids baby girl, Lizzie, was Tyler's and that he had been having an affair with her for 2 years.
Lizzie married Jacob McTavish when she was 17 years old. She convinced him she was pregnant and they ran off to the justice of the peace. The marriage was later annuled when he found out she was never pregnant.
When she was 20 she got a job singing in a restaurant and fell in love with her piano player, Rune Pattinson. They were each others soul mate until he was murdered at their wedding. She suspected by her ex husbands brother, Kevin of committing the crime.
Ethan Holden took Lizzie by surprise. He was the doctor that tried to save her husbands life and failed. She hated him at first, but he slowly worked his way in to her heart. They married, but her unhealthy obsession with making the McTavish family pay for Rune's death was to much for him. They divorced after a year.
Three years after Rune's death, she set out to marry Kevin McTavish in order to gain his confession. She fought a serious attraction to his brother, Shawn, and managed to get him to marry her. Five months in to their marriage she managed to get Kevin to confess not just to the murder of her husband but to all the misdeeds of his family, who were tied to the Irish Mafia. Kevin was arrested and sentanced to life in prison.
Shawn was devastated by Lizzie's but during an angry argument they ended up sleeping together. Lizzie conceived during their night together, and Shawn married her to give her baby a name (though deep inside he doubted she was really pregnant). He was there for the whole nine months and when she delivered her baby girl, Maeve, (and a sneaky DNA test proved she was his) he realized she was not the same child that had fooled his brothers, and he finally let himself admit he loved her.

Tyler's father hired Sylvie's mother, Erlinda Reyes, as a maid when Tyler was 5. Sylvie and he were best friends when he was growing up. When he went off to college Sylvie married his best friend, Ben Langston. Tyler was heartbroken that he had never told her of his love for her.
After Ben died in a plane crash in 1971, Tyler comforted Sylvie and she comforted him back. She admitted that she had always loved him but never dreamed he could love her back. They drank a little, and one thing lead to another, and the affair began. Nine months later, baby Madeline was born.
When she was a year old, she became very sick and was diagnosed with Macrohemophagia Immunodiathronitis, or Ted's Syndrome. She needed a bone marrow transplant, and Sylvie was not a match. Tyler was found to be a perfect match, and donated his bone marrow to save Madeline. When a nurse recognized him at the hospital and asked him how his daughter Madeline was, Marilyn overheard, and filed for divorce the next day.
Madeline was in perfect health after her transplant. Tyler paid for her boarding school. Ten years later she came back from school, fully grown, and married to Oliver Reed, a billionaire playboy. He finagled himself a position at Halloway Industies and tried to take over the company. That is when they found out he was really Oliver Madigan, a con man wanted in 4 states for fraud.
After her divorce, Madeline went to work at her fathers company where she met Jason Adamson. He was just an average guy who worked in the accounting department. She felt attracted to him, but everyone discouraged her from dating him because they were sure he would be after her money. She finally decided to ignore them and she and Jason were married in a small quiet ceremony. After the ceremony, he revealed to her that he was the heir of the Winthrope fortune, but would not inherit until he turned 25. However, if he did not make it to 25, the inheritance would go to his black sheep cousin, Barney Lefton. One month after the wedding, word got out that he was the Winthorp heir and he was poisoned to death with Iocane.
Morgan Mathison was the police officer assigned to the murder case of Jason Adamson. Madeline was his only suspect (being as she was his wife and should inherit the Winthrope fortune in his place). She headed to Vegas to find Barney, and Morgan followed her. They finally tracked the cousin down and while looking for the evidence that would put him away, they fell in love and had a quickie Vegas wedding. Sadly, Madeline couldn't deal with his dangerous job, and he couldn't not be a cop, so they divorced amicably.
One year later she met Tomas Pattinson at a local club. They had a real on again off again relationship. Madeline found out she was pregnant and decided to end it for good with him, but when she said goodbye he realized how much he needed her in his life. He did everything to win her back, and finally, she accepted his proposal. The wedding was beautiful, and just as they said "I do", her water broke. Nine hours later they welcomed Kensington Pattinson into the family.
