Well, I don't think there is a way to cancel/delete your account. I mean, even if you went on a crursing spree and got your account banned it your old posts are still available. I would open another window and google your name/your kids name/hubby's name and delete/redact anything that comes up on this site. Sounds like your family member is a real piece of work.

Yeah, find all those old posts of yours and edit them to delete everything. There's a search feature you can use to find them directly on here.

Personally, I'd just send out an E-mail to your whole family, mostly the ones who are bothering you, but send it to everyone else as well, and make it really passive aggressive, like, 'It has come to my attention that a member of our family has found it necessary to dig up information from an online forum (which I was using for naming advice while pregnant) and bring old, personal issues to light. This is an invasion of privacy and I would appreciate it if references to this would end.'

But that's just what I'd do, I'm not saying it's a way to spread good feelings or anything.

It's not like you can do anything to them besides get mad, but the threat of a big fight over this might get them to shut up. It sounds like they are completely out of line and you have every right to get nasty. I'd be so mad if anyone did this to me, even if they weren't family.
