Altho I prefer Kathryn(but that is just me, lol). Now, if you are going to have nn, do you want her called Kat, Katie, Kathy, Kate, etc. Or Cari, Carol, Carly, etc? I think you need to mull that over. But good choices!! It's powerful, traditional, and has lovely nicknames, including one of my favorites, Kate. I like it because it is a very feminine name, and it means "little and womanly".
