For a girl would Cupcake, Cookie,or Candy be a bad name? i thought they sounded cute but what do you think? or Almond for a boy. HELP. I'm stuck.

Desserts? Ummm...they are adorable as nicknames but you may have a problem being taken seriously with the name Cupcake. Almond isn't really a bad name. I've actually never considered it, but it sounds a bit more suitable for a girl. Perhaps spice names, like Basil, Cayenne, Thyme, or Saffron; or a name that means sweet, like Mandisa (Swahilli).

no offense but pleeeease don't name your kid after a dessert! Poor thing would be teased in school, and would never be taken seriously. Are you kidding? I don't know you, and i don't want to hurt your feelings, but for the love of pete, please think twice about this!!!! Almond is close to being considerable, but definatley for a girl..... stick with spice names if you must go with food....

You shouldnt name your kids after desserts because it sounds like something you would name your cat or dog! But you can give them a regular name and let the desserts be a nickname for instance shes your little cupcake.

Ummm... I wouldn't suggest that but if YOU like it . I mean I know a girl named "Soda" and people love her name but I don't think it's good to name a child after sweets. A joke for that is " Your mother must have been craving sweets when she was pregnant with you." But people may make fun of the childs name. Hope you find the perfect name you're looking for!

i read what you thought [so far] to say and have decided that i guess it was a little far out there. i thought it was cute and unique so i was going to try it but i guess not. i saw you thought spice names were cute so i got to thinking how about Peprika no/yes otherwise i liked basil; you sugested thyme what is that; boy or girl;
