You can take Tylenol not Advil. Advil and Motrin are Ibuprofen based which can increase your risk of bleeding just like aspirin can. Tylenol is acetemenophin based and can be taken safely during pregnancy. If you're having bad headaches talk to your doctor, but also try some home remedies. Take a warm shower or bath (not hot but warm, to hot is bad for the baby), lay down and rest if you can, get plenty of sleep, and maybe try a mask with gel in it that you can either freeze or heat up. Also, if you're newly pregnant and have suddenly cut out caffeine then that could be the problem. I would suggest cutting back slowly over a week or two so you don't get the headaches. If your farther in your pregnancy and you are having swelling in your hands, feet, and face, pain in your upper abdomen, spots before your eyes then call your doctor immediately it could be Pre- eclampsia a very serious condition. Discuss anything you do with your doctor always. I hope this helps

YOU ACTUALLY CAN TAKE ADVILL OR MOTRIN UNTIL YOU 3RD TRIMESTER. IT WILL NOT HARM THE BABY. BUT LIKE SILVERSKY SAID IT CAN CAUSE BLEEDING THATS WHY THEY SAY NOT TO TAKE IN THE LAST TRIMESTER.

No- my doctor said nothing but the non-effective Tylonel. BUT If it's bad enough he/she can put you on Tylonel w/Codeine, wich is what I was prescribed for other pains. I did & still have horrible sinus & migraine headaches during the first & third trimester, so it's a nasty side effect for certain people (like us). Still, ask your doctor any question you may be concerned about.
