I just found out that I'm pregnant a week ago. I have a bad back normally, but it just got much worse. I am still waiting for an appointment with the OB, but in the meantime, I am in so much pain and can't take my regular meds, which are anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers. I went to the clinic and they gave me morphine and tylenol 3 with codeine. I am really uncomfortable taking these drugs but I can't function without them, in fact, even with them, I still can't work and I am extremely constipated and uncomfortable.I am very torn on this subject...... does anyone have any feedback?

Hey! you must be so uncomfortable! But to be on the safe side I would wait and ask my doctor. If the pain gets to out of control, go to the emergency room and they would be able to tell you.

you can also just call the OB office and tell them you are pregnant list the meds you are on and they have a list to tell you if they are safe to take or not right over the phone
