I personally believe abortion is not a good choice, and I would never, ever do it, but I am still pro-choice because I don't think it is right to push my beliefs on anyone else.

I watched the video at abortionno.com, and it's it IS awful, but it is also not a typical abortion. Most abortions happen in the first trimester, when the baby doesn't even look like a baby yet. The video is of a late term abortion, which I think is illegal in most states, or at least most doctors won't do it unless there's a really good reason (like the pregnancy is threatening the mother's life).

Again, I don't believe abortion is the right thing to do, but it is important to allow others to make decisions for themselves, and for everyone to have a realistic representation of all the choices they have.

hello, i've been paying a lot of attention to the election. Sarah Palin feels abortion shouldn't happen unless the moms life is at risk. When watching tv i notice that everyone seems to see this as the "wrong" opinion on the subject. But reading these posts, many people feel the same way she does. I wonder where the actual country is on this issue. Now, back on topic, i'm pro-choice but feel that i could never personally have an abortion and if someone came to me for advice i would say "don't do it". but i would never judge anyone who has to make this decision.
